I am in the military over seas and wanted to buy a nice laser engraved locket for my fiance for when we are separated. i paid $120 for this locket and was deeply disappointed.

it was fragile and scratched also there was glue all over the picture. the chain couldnt even fit my neck and so it wasnt even close to fitting his.

i then emailed the company to try and get my money back and was told that personalized items cannot be returned and there is a 15% remelting fee, this company is a fraud. i wish i would have looked into it more.

Did you give them a chance to fix the problem I have dealt with this company and others where once or twice my order was not perfect I called to get it repaired and it was perfect. You cannot be upset with a company for the refund policy I do not understand people like you. Should have given them a chance to make good on it not automatic refund like a brat

The website no where states anything about a remelting fee. In fact, legally, they say everything is 100% full guaranteed and nothing is stated about restocking or remelting which legally it must if that is case, otherwise it is extortion.

To the person who originally posted the complaint:

Contact the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and put in a formal complaint ASAP. There are sections of the consumer rights act that prevent this type of thing. If you used a credit card, immediately put in a complaint as well. The business is responsible for upholding their promise on goods, and if they 100% guarantee refundable, without a formal disclaimer on all of their subcontracted sites, they are legally bonded by that.

If they give you any more issues, you can also contact the local business department for that county.

(P.S. I work in business and workers fraud so trust, we see this kind of stuff all the time.

You should be lucky it was a more expensive piece. Always do your research.)
